Active participants and observers are responsible for arranging their own travel and accommodations in Philadelphia. PYPA will not arrange for or book hotel accommodations for anyone including artists, parents, and observers. We suggest Club Quarters, however, as a potential hotel.
Obtaining a US visa is the responsibility of the participants and observers. PYPA can provide official invitations for participation upon request.
Active participants and observers are responsible for their own safety and for obtaining US health insurance during PYPA. Please note that active participants and observers’ current health insurance may not necessarily be accepted within the US.
English will be the official language used during PYPA. If an active participant needs a translator, then the active participant is responsible for locating and paying for a translator. At the active participant’s request, PYPA will assist in locating a translator, but PYPA cannot guarantee success.
Participants who are 15 years old or younger at the time of PYPA are required to be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian during his or her stay at PYPA.
Participants who are 16 or 17 years old at the time of PYPA and who do not have a parent or legal guardian accompanying them at PYPA must have a parent or legal guardian sign a consent form.
