What should you do during your visit to Philadelphia?

Only 3 more days until we begin PYPA 2016! Faculty members and young artists are beginning to arrive, the program book has been sent to print, and PYPA pianos will soon be delivered to the Curtis Institute of Music. We can’t wait for the young artists to meet and to begin the week of intensive lessons and master classes.
For many young pianists, this will be their first trip to the city of Philadelphia. There are so many exciting things to do here in the city, and we hope you explore the city as much as you can (in between practice sessions, of course)- here are some places to see!
- Independence Hall
- The Barnes Foundation
- The Philadelphia Museum of Art
- The Top Restaurants in Philly
- Cira Green Park (pictured above)
And of course, don’t forget to try an authentic Philly Cheesesteak while you are in Philadelphia 🙂
